Option 1 – Self Service: To avoid refuelling charges, you are required to return the vehicle full of fuel.

Option 2 – Fuel Service: If you are running late, Budget will refuel the vehicle on your return. Re-fuelling service charges vary by location, please ask the staff when you pick up your vehicle for more information.

Option 3 – Prepaid Fuel Service:  To save time at return add the Prepaid fuel service option to your rental which prepays the cost of a full tank at time of rental. This option is only available at the counter at time of pick up.

Returning the vehicle early, to the same location it was picked up from, can be done without prior notification by you. Check the office opening hours. You will only be charged for the time you've had the vehicle, bearing in mind it could change the daily rate for a shorter rental period.

Many rates, like weekend specials, are only available during certain time periods. Returning the car after or even before the designated time might affect the rate quoted. Returning the car by the agreed-upon time also helps ensure that all other customers will have their reserved car available upon their arrival.

Most car rental rates are based on a 24-hour clock and Budget do offer a 59 minute grace period for your return. Past a 24 hour period, you will be charged for additional hours, with three hours and over being another day's charge. In addition, the charges for optional waivers, optional insurance and surcharges are all applied on a 24-hour basis.

So in this case, you'd be charged for two days.

One way rentals are subject to availability and may incur a one way fee. The fee is included in the booking price at reservation.

These are only accepted when issued as a replacement to previously qualified drivers under conditions such as renewal, lost licence, change of name, change of address. Temporary licences will be checked for stamp or seal and expiration date.
